ZERO FUTUR is also about new beginnings, new ideas, new living, and new worlds. Quartier 20.14 offers a self-guided nighttime walk through a future imagined by neighbourhood children. Animated interviews are presented on television screens installed in Plateau Mont-Royal parks and alleys. Visitors tour sites seeing “the future” in spaces dedicated to imagination and play. The form of this project mimics the collaborative nature of our future by calling on community stakeholders to participate: artists, municipal and provincial governments, residents, and especially children.
