There's an Orchid Shaped Hole Inside of Me

Residency Connexion ARC, New Brunswick (2015)

…….fill it
with fast-paced-lifestyles
(((EXCLUSIVES)))

…….fill it
with weather;
unexpectedly long winters,
fluid days turned to waves,
campaigning for typhoons

“Is there blood on that towel?”
“Is that a box in their hands?”
“Is it filled with something?”
“Do I dare speculate it is full?”

Special trend forecasts
peeling the base of the screen into a single strip of rind,
an orange splits into four murmurs….
“sources have now confirmed, it is filled with something.”

SHE uses the towel to wipe away Steve
“Thank you Steve!” peppy/compelling…clipped angles,
She talks through urgent eyes, concerned
eyes, eyes I could fall in love with.

This project is supported by the Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and presented in partnership with UNB Media Arts and Cultures Society and CHSR FM Official Community Campus Radio.
